What is the difference between stress and a burnout? Stress is a physiological and psychological response that occurs when you notice a discrepancy between what is demanded of you and your ability to cope with those demands. It's a natural reaction that your body and mind undergo when faced with challenges or threats. Stress can result from various factors, including work pressures, personal relationships, financial concerns, and life changes. There are two main types of stress: Acute Stress: This is short-term stress that occurs in response to an immediate threat or challenge. It triggers the body's "fight or flight" response, releasing stress hormones like adrenaline, and is generally resolved once the situation is addressed. Chronic Stress: This is long-term stress that persists over an extended period. It can result from ongoing situations such as work-related difficulties, financial problems, or chronic health issues. Chronic stress can have detrimental effects on both physical and mental health if not properly managed. Stress affects individuals differently, and what may be stressful for one person might not be for another. It can manifest in different parts of us: The body: *headaches, *muscle tension *fatigue Emotions: *anxiety * irritability *sadness Intellect: * concentration difficulties * memory failures Social: *changes in sleep *changes in eating patterns * social withdrawal Managing stress involves adopting healthy coping mechanisms, such as regular exercise, adequate sleep, relaxation techniques, time management, and seeking support from friends, family, or professionals when needed. It's important to recognize and address stress to prevent it from escalating into more serious health issues. Healing from burnout passes through unavoidable phases. What are the phases of healing a burnout?

What are the 6 phases of healing from burnout? You might find it hard to believe, but the first two phases of healing are usually the hardest to go through and take the most time. Obviously, this depends on your personality and the level of your burnout. RECOGNIZING ACCEPTING REST VERSION 1.0 VERSION 2.0 HEALING Recognizing This is the first, very important but also difficult phase. Your close circle has been warning you for quite some time that you are more irritable or emotional and that you look tired. That you show signs of a burnout. You think deep down that they might be right, as you have experienced symptoms as well. You have inexplicable pains in your body, brain fog that just comes up at any moment. You have difficulties in concentrating, memory loss, and an overall negative feeling related to your life. But as you are used to being in control and managing your team at work to success, you just cannot believe you are not able to manage yourself. This feels like failure. You feel embarrassed to admit it. It can happen to everyone but certainly not to you. For many of us, our identity and self-worth are closely related to our ability to manage and succeed, whether it be in our professional or personal life. That is how we are programmed, or in other words, how we know ourselves to be. Being out of control by struggling to manage yourself can give you a feeling of loss and frustration. Admitting vulnerability and burnout can challenge these perceptions and may be accompanied by feelings of fear, failure, shame. In work cultures that prioritize constant productivity and success, there is still a negative stigma around burnout. It is looked down upon and not treated as a disease but some kind of temporary state of mind, or even something that is in fashion and can be solved with a weekend away or a holiday. To add on top of all of the above, we also have to deal with our cultural and social expectations regarding success and achievement. You may feel pressure to maintain a facade of strength and capability, even when facing significant challenges. Recognizing having a burnout is not a sign of weakness; on the contrary, it is very powerful. An adequate response to chronic stress and overwhelm. Taking care of your well-being is not a sign of failure but a necessary step for long-term success and happiness.

What can I do for you? I offer you a complete program that is tailor-made for the phase of burnout you find yourself in. It includes holistic methods that are very powerful in helping you to tune in to yourself. Right now, you are mainly in your mind, and you need to rebalance between your body, mind, soul, emotions, and intellect. Your reserve energy levels are near to, or below, zero, and I will help you to fill these reserves up again. When that is done, we will move on to get you back to your normal daily energy levels. While that process is going on, I will give you exercises with powerful questions carefully chosen for you that will enable us to make your current wheel of wellness, which will be our anchor for the rest of the program. With personalized holistic exercises, you will make your own road to recovery. During the program, you will feel at ease expressing that you are not able yet to take the next step or to cancel a coaching session because you are just too tired that day. I will take you by the hand and walk beside you every step of the bumpy road to healing. I will be the always understanding person in your life and the one that offers you the right tools or exercises at the right moment. Because I HAVE BEEN THERE. Even though your inner circle has all the patience and love for you and gives you your space and time to heal, if you never experienced it yourself, it is simply not possible to understand it fully. A burnout touches all aspects of your life and yourself. Your personal life, your professional life, your social life. Your body, your emotions, your intellect, your spirit, and social part are all involved too. It is necessary to make a 180º change in all of this to really heal from a burnout, and more importantly, to make sure you don't get another one. This process is different for everyone, the timespan of it as well, and I give you all of that. Take the first step in prioritizing yourself and book NOW.
